Tolmie State Park, WA
Much as I love photographing faces, and especially the faces of my daughters, sometimes it's all I can do to chase along behind them, and I end up with very few images where they're looking at me! But I think that's okay.....I'd rather let them be, explore, and connect with where they are than insist on them connecting with me through the lens. Today I spent a happy hour or two following along as they explored a bit of Tolmie State Park here in Washington. It was a surprisingly warm day and an unexpected adventure.
All the shoes came off, of course, and didn't go back on til we left---they all prefer woods walking without them. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree (I am the saaaaaame way :))
